Built around 1580, the Žerotín family castle bears witness to the Saxon Renaissance movement: a large "U" shape lined with three-storey arcades and an octagonal tower. The park was transformed into an English park in 1802. The interior is remarkable for its Renaissance and early Baroque features, beautiful painted wood ceilings, Renaissance and Empire furniture and superb art collections. Curiosity: the courtroom where inquisitors tried witches in the 17th century.
