BRUNTÁL CASTLE
Castle – Château

Originally, it was a Gothic castle where the lords of Vrbno resided. It was later rebuilt in Renaissance and Baroque style. It became the property of the order of the Teutonic Knights from 1621 to 1938. The building is very elegant. Inside, one can admire a beautiful library, richly decorated rooms with furniture from the 18th century or more recent, very rococo wall paintings or a beautiful gallery of paintings by masters of different European schools from the 16th to the 18th century.
