MULINO DI MORA BASSA
Mill that has preserved its red brick architecture in Vigevano.
A wedding present from Ludovico Sforza to his wife Beatrice d'Este in 1494, this 15th century mill has preserved its red brick architecture. Two hydraulic wheels drain the water from the river, their mechanism is close to the techniques developed by Leonardo da Vinci. Inside, an exhibition retraces the history of the territorial transformations that took place in the region following the introduction of a modern hydraulic network. Appreciated at all ages, faithful reproductions of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions complete the visit.
