BROLETTO
Political and administrative center of the city until the 19th century.
This 12th century building, south of Piazza Vittoria, was the political and administrative centre of the city until the 19th century. Built in the style of the traditional Lombard broletti, with a large porch on the ground floor and a large meeting room on the first floor, the building has undergone several alterations over the centuries. Today it is the seat of various municipal cultural institutions; among other things, it hosts temporary exhibitions that take place in the beautiful 16th century hall decorated with frescoes.
