PIAZZA DELLA VITTORIA
Square acting as an urban lounge, the oldest part of the city in Lodi.
Piazza della Vittoria, in the heart of Lodi, is a rectangular square lined with arcades and serves as an urban living room, surrounded by cafés and shops. This is the oldest part of the city, around which stand important monuments: the Romanesque Duomo, the bell tower, the Palazzo Comunale or Broletto (1284), whose neoclassical facade is topped by a loggia (1778). Passing under the portico, you reach the Piazza del Broletto with its fountain, which is actually a 14th century baptismal font from the Duomo.
