Hotel located near the most beautiful Renaissance architecture of Mantua offering 50 beautiful rooms with modern comforts.

This historic hotel, well known in Mantua, changed ownership in June 2024 and is now called Hotel Pex. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but will remain accessible throughout this period. A sure bet in the city, just a stone's throw from some of the finest Renaissance architecture in the center. Large volumes, marble floors and harmonious, well-appointed interiors. Beautiful rooms with modern comforts, from deluxe to economy, the establishment is accessible to all budgets. Lovely breakfast garden.

Lontano dagli standard di tanti altri 4 stelle. Personale di conciergerie totalmente inadeguato. Stanze con persistenti odori da cucine sottostanti. Livello della camera che ci è stata assegnata da pensione di categoria inferiore, per il prezzo pagato. Non ci ritornerei, neanche a prezzi più bassi.

We verbleven enkele dagen in hotel Rechigi (Januari, dus buiten het toeristisch seizoen). Het personeel aan de receptie was heel vriendelijk. Het hotel bevindt zich in een straat voor beperkt verkeer, maar het hotel kan er voor zorgen dat je er met je auto terecht kan. Er is een ondergrondse garage (25 EUR/nacht), maar de helling is zo steil dat je een beetje rubber van je banden kan verliezen. De bar was (niet-toeristisch seizoen ?) niet geopend. Aangezien je in het centrum van Montova verblijft is dit niet echt een probleem (Bar Umborto I is een aanrader). De kamers waren best OK, met een prima verwarming (en af en toe verwarming in de badkamer). Het ontbijt was sober: geen kaas of vleeswaren.
Opties wel tegen betaling beschikbaar.
De slippers werden geapprecieerd.
