Al Frate is a bit like the historical brewery of Brescia, characteristic in its decoration and in its cuisine which excels in regional specialities. Although the quality of the food is not to be blamed, it is a pity that the service is sometimes a little slow. It is therefore better not to be in a hurry. The cutting boards of cold meats and cheeses are excellent, with quality products. The osso buco is to be tried, it's a real delight! And the plates, in addition to being appetizing, are well stocked. Nice service

Ingredienti di primissima qualità sapientemente cucinati nel rispetto della tradizione. Locale storico consigliatissimo!

Luogo insolito, palesemente arredato da un titolare singolare. Per collezionisti di targhe e insegne vintage.un bel colpo d'occhio. Locale confortevole, personale molto attento e presente. Lista corretta, no enciclopedica fortunatamente, pochi piatti locali che soddisfano ogni richiesta. Avevamo una intollerante che ha cenato senza problemi. Unico appunto sul piatto bresciano, i casunzei, la quantità era davvero minimalista, rispetto a tutte le altre portate non certo povere. Il mio vicino che li ha ordinati dovrà tornare per riprendersi il sapore. Vino e dolci ottimi. Conto, come sempre ripeto, è relativo se hai mangiato secondo le tue aspettative. Corretto per la media di quello che oggi si paga una cena, da tener presente anche la location, siete in centro, zona pedonale a Brescia.

Il servizio era completamente privo di coordinamento e ciò ha reso l’esperienza complessivamente negativa. Un’ora e trenta con svariate richieste di attenzione. Peccato, la qualità del cibo era buona e l’ambiente carino.
