Military fortress erected by the Visconti family and hosting two museums in Brescia.

This 14th century military fortress was built by the Visconti family. In the northern part are the Grande and Piccolo Miglio, interesting grain deposits under the Serenissima. Today the castle is home to two museums.

Museo del Risorgimento: dedicated to the history of Italian Unity. Particularly highlighted the episodes of the battles of Solferino and San Martino, which took place in 1859 in the area.

Opening time and information on CASTELLO

Chateau's park: every day from 8am to 8pm, free admission. Museums: from October to mid-June from 9am to 6pm, from mid-June to end of September from 10.30am to 7pm (night Thursday until 10pm). Closed Monday. Admission for the 2 museums €4, reduced €3.

un bel endroit pour une promenade et une collation

situé à quelques pas (en montée) du centre, c'est un endroit idéal pour un pique-nique dans le parc. Les installations sont bien restaurées. Il y a aussi un bar juste à l'extérieur. Le musée Risorgimento est en cours de restauration et le musée des armes ferme le lundi.
