Military fortress erected by the Visconti family and hosting two museums in Brescia.
This 14th century military fortress was built by the Visconti family. In the northern part are the Grande and Piccolo Miglio, interesting grain deposits under the Serenissima. Today the castle is home to two museums.
Museo del Risorgimento: dedicated to the history of Italian Unity. Particularly highlighted the episodes of the battles of Solferino and San Martino, which took place in 1859 in the area.
