The Bergamo public transport company manages the network of urban lines, useful especially for getting around the lower city. Line n° 1 connects the centre to the railway station and the airport (every 20 minutes).
Funicular railway. The ATB also manages the two funiculars that connect the lower town to the upper town. The first runs from Viale Vittorio Emanuele II, the second joins the San Vigilio hill to the south of the city. Installed in 1887, it is the first one that you can take alternatively by bus to reach the historic heart of the city.

On monte dans une cabine et le funiculaire nous emmène sur les hauteurs de la ville haute de bergame. tres utile si on ne veut pas marcher. autre solution on peut prendre le bus mais c'est moins typique
