A deux pas de la Piazza Duomo la Curia Vescovile occupe l'emplacement où aurait dû se trouver la Basilique Santa Maria Maggiore si le tremblement de terre de 1222 n'avait pas altéré ses plans. Il s'agit d'un lieu important à Bergame puisque c'est là que le bishop administrait la justice de la ville. Il n'en reste que de superbes fresques.
