Little red train to discover breathtaking landscapes in Tirano.
Classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site, this little red train(trenino rosso) is quite improbable. Inaugurated in 1911, the railway line that links Tirano in Italy to Switzerland towards Saint Moritz is the highest in Europe (2,253 m)! Over 60 km, the little red train winds its way through 55 galleries and 196 viaducts with an incline that sometimes reaches 70%. A journey that allows you to discover breathtaking landscapes. In summer, some of the carriages are convertible!

Tirano is a very small city, but thanks to Trenino Rosso, it does not less than two stations: the Italian national company (Tirano is the last station unique line from Milan) .et the Bernina. The railway line Tirano- St Moritz is the highest in Europe and it is well worth a visit: you can admire forests, lakes, peaks of mountains, covered with snow, etc. to do! I have an unforgettable souvenir! But beware of good cover, queque the season, because you will go up very high!
