This ski area is linked to those of Zermatt and Valtournenche. Its average altitude is the highest in the Alps, with a vertical drop of between 2,000 and 3,500 m (and almost 4,000 m on the Swiss side), ensuring excellent snow cover until May. The panoramic views are exceptional: you can ski at the foot of the Matterhorn and see the entire Mont-Rose massif. The legendary Ventina route is considered one of the longest and most picturesque in the Alps.
