The second set of starters introduced us to a chef signature: fried mashed potatoes with lemon, which was delicious with pleasant aromatics that highlighted the lemon without being too weird or soapy.
Moving onto the primi, we shared a beef ravioli “genovese” which must translate to “outstanding”, because that’s what it was. My wife said I made happy noises.
For secondi, we tried the octopus and the braised beef. My wife made happy noises when she tried my selection, so now we’re even. Dessert will be the tie breaker. The chef offered two different cannolis: buffalo ricotta and dark chocolate with all-spice. We tried both. It was a tie.
On the other hand really too business acumen, consumption forced for mineral water, anti - pasti, soup, dish, etc... and if you refuses to take all this council, the question to receive the small more " digestif" graceful.
