You have to take the road to the Posillipo district to reach this elegant white villa ideally positioned on the heights facing the Bay of Naples. Calasole for squid del sole, "sunset", which can be admired through the large bay windows of the restaurant. The restaurant is not only worth a visit for its panoramic location, it also offers good Neapolitan cuisine that favours seafood: the Calasole seafood gnocchi are worth a visit. The service is sober and classy, just like the place.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating - make sure to make reservation.

Food and drink was exceptional - nicest seafood we had in Naples. Mussel soup was exceptional and looked to be the most popular dish landing on all tables.

If going by Taxi make sure to book return as it is hard to get Taxis to come up there.

Firstly, make sure that you reserved in advance. Otherwise, you won't get a view. Secondly, the view is panoramic indeed, but that's a lowland full of old industrial buildings. It's really a matter of taste. And the most important - food is... edible. Not tasty. It's so average as it can be. But expensive. So you will pay pretty much for the view, which is really not for everyone. You choose, but if you do, remember to make the reservation or you won't even have a view ;) Staff is very polite, though.
