You have to take the road to the Posillipo district to reach this elegant white villa ideally positioned on the heights facing the Bay of Naples. Calasole for squid del sole, "sunset", which can be admired through the large bay windows of the restaurant. The restaurant is not only worth a visit for its panoramic location, it also offers good Neapolitan cuisine that favours seafood: the Calasole seafood gnocchi are worth a visit. The service is sober and classy, just like the place.

It's always a pleasure to return, whether for lunch or dinner! The welcome begins with a delightful welcome aperitif: bite-sized treats with sparkling wine, a true delight to start the meal. Among the appetizers, my choice often falls on the mixed fried platter, a true flagship of the cuisine, especially the swordfish parmigiana and fried baby octopus, which are genuine masterpieces. The first courses, such as paccheri with amberjack and spaghetti with clams, are truly delicious. The seafood fry is also a triumph of marine flavors. To conclude the meal, the desserts never disappoint: the zeppola di San Giuseppe and the caprese are authentic delights!
The restaurant stands out for its warm hospitality and offers a charming view of the Gulf of Pozzuoli through its large windows. The excellent value for money is an additional reason to appreciate this culinary experience. The availability of parking adds a touch of convenience. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a combination of excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and affordability.
