This restaurant was originally a canteen for fishermen; it has become an unmissable address, one of the best on the seafront with, in addition, a magical view of the Bay of Naples! Maria, the daughter of the founder of the place, and her two sons, Gianluca and Vicenzo, take care of this restaurant, whose name pays homage to the prominent belly of its first owner. On the wall are photos of the many personalities who have come to enjoy typical fish-based cuisine, including Cannavaro, a close friend of Vincenzo's, and Ralph Fiennes.

Il locale ha potenzialità altissime, ma l'ho trovato vecchio e un pó fatiscente.
Il servizio è piuttosto scadente, anche se il cibo è buono.
Bocciata senza riserve, la cantina vini: banale e senza grandi alternative ai classici vini campani.
