One of the most famous cafés in Naples, a myth! Created in 1860 by Vincenzo Appuzo, the establishment is in the age of Italian Unity! Strategically located between Via Chiaia, Piazza Trieste e Trento and Piazza Plebiscito, this café-gallery, of true splendour, decorated with golden stuccoes, paintings and large ice-creams, has welcomed kings, queens, intellectuals, poets, journalists... Splendide café au décor somptueux à deux pas du Téatro San Carlo. Pâtisseries de 1er choix, de même que les glaces. Idéal pour prendre son temps sur une terrasse fleurie agréable. A ne pas manquer.

Superbe salon et pâtisseries savoureuses à prix très corrects compte tenu du lieu. Le service est lent mais il y a beaucoup de monde surtout l'après-midi et cela permet de mieux profiter du décor.
Seul point noir: des toilettes sales et vieillottes, vraiment dommage!

C'est un lieu mythique à Naples où il faut aller boire un café. Les pâtisseries sont bonnes et les prix un peu élevés en raison de la célébrité du lieu. En effet, c'est un bel endroit typique mais qui manque un peu de raffinement et se repose sur ses lauriers... dommage
