CHIESA DI SANTA MARIA DEGLI ANGELI ALLE CROCI
Church with a nave and a cloister with evangelical frescoes by Corenzio Belisario.
Not far from the botanical gardens. Founded in the 16th century (1581) with the convent adjoining, the church houses in its nave the statue of San Francesco and the splendid Pergamo, made by Cosimo Fanzago. In the cloister (today the seat of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) there are evangelical frescoes by Corenzio Belisario, as well as an extraordinary repertory of the Neapolitan aristocracy's coat of arms. The church was restored after the 1980 earthquake.
