It is certainly the most beautiful fountain in Naples, built in honour of the Spanish vice-king Enrico Guzman. A prestigious testimony of the urban redevelopment of the city in the th century, according to the drawings of Giovanni Domenico d'Auria, it will finally be reworked by Domenico Fontana. Large circular form consisting of four series of stands at the base. Railings decorated with lions. Nymphs, marins, satyrs and tritons are signed by Pietro Bernini. Naccherino has carried out the Neptune on the trident.
