MARSHLANDS OF DIVES
Marshes where we discover a rich fauna and flora, in particular trees: black alder, white willow, ash, and ash willow.
The actual area of the Marais marshes is located in Saline (Troarn). A former estuary, the marshes were gradually reclaimed from the sea, drained, and converted into grasslands. Today, they are marshy prairies, situated just above sea level. There is a rich fauna and flora, including trees like glutinous, white willow, ash, ash willow, poplar, and various flowers such as white aquatic ranunculus or purple orchids. It is not uncommon to encounter storks there.
