PARCO ARCHEOLOGICO DI POMPEI
Archaeological park representing the daily life of Pompeii with remains of houses following the eruption of Vesuvius
On October 24, 79, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius buried Pompeii, a town of 15,000 inhabitants, under ash, volcanic dust and pumice. However, this catastrophe enabled future generations to discover a site that preserves, like a snapshot, the customs of the Pompeians. The remains of richly decorated houses offer a glimpse into the daily life of the Pompeians. For example, you can admire the superb mosaics of the houses of the Boars, Poquius Proculus and the Tragic Poet. The sites to visit are detailed separately.

The half-day time, we think Roman this time, with a long white linens and Spartan!
Pompeii is to visit! And rather twice that you! I went three times and never I will not to visit this beautiful city of time in which I to imagine me very well little...
I advise to take a guide so that the visit is absolutely full!
If you can bring minimum 2 days to do it, even in one day running.
The various guides sold at the entrance find their interest to understand (if you do not take the audioguides), you can bargain them as everything is sold not merchants " ambulants" in Italy; -)
