In the centre of Sorrento, this gastronomic restaurant in honour of Enrico Caruso (1873-1921) is lined with photos of the famous tenor from Naples, whose voice never fails to provide the background music for meals. Music and fine cuisine have always gone hand in hand. The plates are small paintings in themselves, where colours, perfumes and flavours are combined with finesse and modernity. The high-ceilinged room is a small museum of caricature. The restaurant enjoys a good reputation. The wine list is first class.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
For mains we had spaghetti with cherry tomato the spaghetti was perfectly aldente but the sauce was like heinz spaghetti hoop sauce.
Wife had sea bass which was burnt on bottom and also overcooked.
No one asked if we would like sweet and we were ignored during courses.
Bill was 135 euro, about right for a high end eatery but seemed expensive for the quality received.
I could not reccomend Carusoes and will not return.
Our advice, try another better priced and choice local restaurant.
