Heel hard bed, veel lawaai in kamer, alle lawaai uit gang en omgeving. Zeer slecht geslapen.

Do not bother with the response with the message the owner responded to in my original review. My cancellation was 2 days before my check-in due (NOT a few hours) because we had to cancel our ENTIRE Italy trip because of unforeseen circumstances. Also, booking.com gave the option for the hotel to waive the fee at the time of cancellation when I put in the request, but the HOTEL CHOSE NOT TO. We were fine being charged a fee of course respectfully, but to charge us the full amount was definitely poor customer service. They should take into considerations when emergencies come up. We had to cancel our entire trip. We did not “choose to go somewhere else besides Positano.” It is completely disrespectful of this owner to tell us that it was “questionable for us to hold the hotel for a month and then cancel.” Obviously we wouldn’t have cancelled unless it was an emergency circumstance that caused us to cancel our entire trip to Italy, which I explained to them. How disrespectful of them to make those kinds of accusations. Please read my full review to get an HONEST review on their terrible customer service.

Do NOT book at this hotel. Horrible customer service. My husband had an emergency and we had to cancel our entire trip. We contacted the hotel with over 24 hours notice. We booked through Booking.com originally, and they give an option for the hotel to waive the fee and cancel the reservation without penalty. The hotel refused and said that it was a “big loss” for them even though they still have vacant rooms available anyways that people could have booked. They were not at full capacity. It cost us a significant amount of money and they refused to waive any of it, even though they had a choice to. Our other hotels in Florence and Rome cancelled for us without any penalty because of our situation. There are plenty of beautiful places to stay in Positano better than this one. When traveling internationally, because of the costs, you want to make sure you book somewhere you can trust if something happens. And unfortunately things happen. Don’t risk wasting so much money on a place that does this. It’s not worth it.

Thank you to Cristina & Vittorio for all your kind assistance both prior to our arrival & throughout our stay including our departure. We had booked several rooms as we were getting married in Positano. Cristina and Vittorio were amazing handling all of the different check in times, dates and requests for all guests at any time. We cannot thank them enough for all they did - they are the best.

The accommodation was well located & was very clean & spacious. We enjoyed opening our French style door windows & soaking in the atmosphere & fun from the Positano Streets.

Thank you for your assistance with our luggage & for looking after all our guests. We look forward to returning again soon.

We will definitely recommend this accommodation to family & friends.

A home away from home! Location, location, location is unbeatable. The service and care of the staff makes it hard to leave. The apartment was very comfortable and we felt like locals.

Definitely recommend this hotel

This has been one of the best holidays and apartments we have stayed in Italy. From the rooms, daily cleaning service, free ironing service. The front desk team of Vittorio and Kristina. Nothing was too much trouble for them. For booking us restaurants to taxi to giving us a few ideas and just asking us are we ok, how our day was. The views from our villa were just amazing. Watching the sea whilst having our first cuppa of the day. The location is very central too next to all the restaurants. Beach. Ferry to other islands. I would definitely recommend this villa and can’t wait to come back soon.

Perfectly located hotel steps from the beach! The reception was nicer than nice! He went well out of his way to call around and find a Vespa for us to take for the day! Couldn’t have been more helpful! Thank you for the great time in Positano!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit der besten Lage in Positano. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und unser Zimmer war frisch renoviert. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man nach einem Hotel mit zentraler Lage sucht. Sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Zimmer mit Meerblick.

Excellent family friendly Villa with perfect location in heart of Positano.

The team at Villa Flavia Gioia were always available to help us - we were a 7 person party travelling especially Cristina and Vitorio.

They made our holiday so much more enjoyable, making reservations at restaurants, organised a day on a boat for us, arranged for our transfers and taxis to reach our destinations, told us to go to delicatessen for food & beer to have on hand in the villa. There was nothing they couldn’t help us with - even when we missed the bus they were on hand to arrange an emergency driver so we weren’t late for lunch.

The Villa was very clean, they provided beach towels and laundry services. All convenient services for a large group.

Beautiful authentic & modern Italian hotel in the centre of Positano. Great location right next to the cathedral & easy walking distance to the beach & restaurants. Lovely staff & service ☺️
