We almost decided to eat in another restaurant because the recommendation was only okay. But we’re so happy we didn’t! The staff was very sweet and nice. The food was the best food we had so far at the Amalfi coast. We ate the tomato-mozzarella and spaghetti with seafood.

We were there in out season in march so it was not so full in the restaurant. The ambiance is extraordinary with the seaview but the furnitures are traditional.
I would recommend the Praiano style capellini gamberi with lemon taste. It was really delicious and something special.
The only thing which made me sad was the not interested waiter.

What a lovely place with a spectacular view. Food and service were great and well priced.
The owner of the restaurant was kind, attentive and enjoyed a laugh with us. Will be back!

We were worried about the reviews like others but we went and had a chilled, relaxed and fun time.

Interact with the staff and they will offer just as much back.

Best pizzas going around for money, lovely seafood and fantastic home cooked desserts done daily.

Go along, be chilled and go with the flow and you’ll have a great time.

Great home-style Italian food and genuine service. Pizza and pasta is delicious, well and priced highly recommended. But make sure you leave room for dessert! Thank you. We will be back!

Fantastic family-run restaurant with superb pizzas and pasta. We had a great red wine with our meal, the service was incredible and the waiters made our night very memorable. They clearly love what they do. Would highly recommend during your visit to Praiano. Can’t wait to come back!

Traditional authentic Italian restaurant with fantastic wood-fired pizzas and friendly homely service

Our hotel recommended this place and it has honestly been an amazing experience. Food is exceptional and service staff were warm and friendly. Very reasonably priced and must say it’s the best meal we’ve had in Italy thus far.

The pizza is incredible. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We came in and ordered two pizzas to go and got a drink while we waited. Great atmosphere! Love this place!

La comida no es buena, el lugar es viejo, desordenado y sucio, tiene mala iluminación y los baños son inaccesibles, sin duda un comercio que le quita categoría a Praiano que es un pueblo maravilloso. No debería el municipio permitir que un lugar tan improvisado, con muy mala atención reciba turistas de todo el mundo. Está situado geográficamente en un buen lugar pero deberían clausurarlo no solo por cuestiones sanitarias sino por el maltrato que ese energúmeno tenía para con todos los comensales.
La atención es malísima, tardaron 20 minutos en venir a tomar el pedido y había personal disponible , los modos y la imagen un Sr de rulos y su hijo ambos con muy mal aspecto, dejan que desear, se acercaban de mal modo a tomar el pedido, solo te hablaban en ingles no querían entender ningún otro idioma, ni siquiera el italiano, no se esforzaban por entender a los turistas como generalmente sucedes, te contestaban Mal subiendo el tono voz, nunca nos pasó algo así .
Un mozo y un sr que puso la mesa fueron más atentos pero no tenían autoridad en el lugar.
Con cierre de oro cuando pagamos tardaron en traer el vuelto y le dijimos que estábamos apurados y al acercarse el más joven nos decía en inglés gritando que el vuelto lo teníamos que dejar todo de propina y enojado dejó un plato con todo el dinero, del cual si bien no merecían nada , le dejamos lo que comúnmente se acostumbra.
Yo creo que nos encontramos con el tope de la descortesía.
Pero los que estaban al frente como sus dueños a nuestro entender eran unos ordinarios maleducados. Nunca más volvería ni lo recomendaría, dejo mi comentario para que no pierdan el tiempo ni tengan una mala experiencia como nosotros .

Great views from the terrace, we all had pizza and they were very good. The home-made desserts are excellent. Staff attentive and friendly.

Had pizza at a quiet time. Really tasty and reasonable price. Wine was fine (pinot grigio). Walked past in the evening and was a lot more likely. Would recommend.

People, do yourself a favor and don’t make the same mistake we did. DO NOT EAT HERE. Any other restaurants on this street are so much better, I’ve eaten at all of them. I can overlook bad service, but I can’t overlook the roaches and terrible taste of the food. The old waiter is also just a grouch like all the reviews here say, but I made it my mission to eat at all restaurants in Praiano. This is by far the worst and I never post bad reviews.

My recommendation for the best restaurant in the area is only a few minutes away at Kasai. All restaurants in the area of good views, so don’t let that be the reason you eat dinner at this place.

We also saw the man reject people for coming in who wore shorts? It’s super hot outside, what do you expect people go wear in the Amalfi coast, jeans and jacket?

Awful. I gave them the benefit of the doubt with the mixed reviews online but I wished I’d paid more attention. The worst place we’ve been and it was obvious from the moment we walked in. There was something muttered about ‘English’ and then we were either ignored, or made to wait an age for food. We appreciate the Mediterranean way is more relaxed but this was ridiculous. We’ve never experienced such an unwelcome attitude with such mediocre food before. Stick to the lovely family restaurant of Il Pino instead and don’t waste your time here.

Was a bit skeptical because of the reviews, but pleasantly surprised. Cheapest food you can get on Amalfi. My pizza was $10, massive size and actually fresh. Servers were great clsssic Italians. Fiancé asked what flavour the dessert was, he came over, cut her a tiny piece, put it on her hand, proceeded to pour syrup and icing sugar. It was hilarious and fantastic way to end the night. Tasted amazing too

Excelente escolha sem marcação, fomos ao acaso e tivemos uma excelente Rececao desde a chegada com a colocação numa mesa mais interior e depois sem pedir uma mesa com vista Positano ficou livre!! tiveram o cuidado de nos trocar!! Quanto a comida estava impecável com toque de comida muito tradicional, restaurante sem luxo mas muito agradável e com atendimento muito profissional ????????????.

Amazing seafood pasta, friendly service, great view

This place was pretty good. Service was on the slower side and the man helping us didn’t seem very friendly or wanting to answer questions. Food is fairly priced for the area and it was very good! The pizza was one of our favorites we’ve had so far. My shrimp pasta was pretty good, I liked the angel hair. Views of positano are amazing as well.

Probably my favorite restaurant in all of the Amalfi, big portions, great food and the price was cheap considering its in the Amalfi. Food came quick too.

L'accueil à La Brace est irréprochable. Rapide, efficace et souriant. C'est sûrement un des meilleurs restos à Praiano.
