HOTEL PELLEGRINO ^{* * *}

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Pellegrino, and it was easily the best hotel stay we have ever had. We can easily say this was a result of the care and thoughtfulness we experienced as guests. We chose this hotel based on the countless 5 star reviews from former guests, and after our stay I truly wish we could give more than 5 stars. They deserve it!!!

From arrival, we were greeted by Federico at the front desk and showed to our immaculacy clean room, full of character. He also provided us with a WhatsApp number to connect with him throughout our stay, and many recommendations of things to do in the area. Each of the 10 rooms has a very private balcony that looks out to an incredible view of Praiano and the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, the restaurant on the top floor holds both an indoor and terrace view. Simply incredible!

Daniela is an INCREDIBLE chef and prepared the best breakfasts and dinners we experienced during our 10-day stay in Italy. Alessia also welcomed us and assisted us with anything we needed throughout our stay, including providing us with recommendations for the area and serving breakfast in the morning. Luigi, their father, was so kind and funny, offering a lift into Praiano, one of the close-by beaches, or the city of Positano upon our request. This was very much appreciated, as we didn’t rent a Vespa until our 3rd day. Last, but certainly not least, Luigi’s wife (whose name has unfortunately escaped me) provided housekeeping services throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

We are already thinking of when we can come back again, to a place that feels like home. Please, if you are debating where to stay during your time in the Amalfi Coast, look no further than Hotel Pellegrino.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Pellegrino in August of 2023. I kept forgetting to write a review and am doing it now because it is THAT well deserved. This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. They truly care about each and every one of their guests, they have so many recommendations and will help you figure out your reservations, activities, and travel. The hotel is spotless and the views are to die for. Also, the breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel was some of the best we had on the entire trip. This truly felt like living in a dream, I would give anything to be back there right now. Since this is a family-owned hotel, you truly can feel the love in all the food and care that they give. I would give 100 stars if I could. If you are debating booking, seriously just DO IT!

Amazed at first sight! Impeccably clean and detailed hotel. The service is first class and the food is prepared by a chef nightly and out of this world. The breakfast here is fresh and delicious. Luigi and his family will be sure to see that you’re well taken care of.

Everything about this hotel is impressive. The owner Luigi and his staff/family are extremely helpful and assisted my wife and I with transport, bookings and activity advice. The hotel itself is luxurious/classy and our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a balcony view of the water near Praiano. The included breakfast was delicious! Everything tasted fresh and the portion size was very generous. Location is fantastic; 5 minute walk to Praiano or Luigi will happily drop you into town or even over to Positano. We did the Path of the Gods hike leaving at 6am on our last day and Luigi was more than happy to pack us a beautiful breakfast for the hike as we would miss it at the hotel.. And also collect us from the trail end! All in all, a lovely experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amalfi! Thanks again Luigi and the broader team!!
