VILLA LARA
Modern rooms in a beautiful hotel with terrace near the historic center of Amalfi and the sea.
A beautiful and quiet hotel, 600 metres from the historic centre of Amalfi and the sea. Housed in a beautiful late 19th century residence, it offers large, bright and modern rooms, with a beautiful contrast between the white walls and the dark wood floors. From the terrace where breakfast is served, you can enjoy a unique view of the city's rooftops and the sea, while below, the lemon trees and vegetation of the Valle dei Mulini form a beautiful natural setting. Nello and Luca will give you a warm welcome

Breakfast was good but food is always better in a welcoming places. Thanks Villa Lara!!
We had a great three nights stay in Amalfi at Villa Lara.
Staff were excellent. Service perfect with even great tips around Amalfi coast. Great
view. Peace at night. Away from the crowd and only 5 minutes to be in the core
Of Amalfi.
The location also has an elevator if you don’t want to take the stairs.
Breakfast had good options.
We will definitely go back!
- Location was great- super close to everything in Amalfi (5 minute walk) without being in the crowds. The area was quiet and felt very safe. Also had great views from the terrace!
- The Room was as expected. The bed was comfortable and we got decent sleep. The room was cool and the team kept the mini bar stocked with fresh water each day. The bathroom was nice and the shower had great water pressure / hot water. The rooms were cleaned each
- The staff / service - this is what really took it to 5 stars for me! Everyone at Villa Lara was so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They really made you feel like you were at home. Each morning, we had breakfast on the terrace (pastries, cereal, etc) with fresh cappuccinos. The staff (Luca was one of the main staff members in the mornings) asked us several times if we needed anything additional or wanted another cappuccino.
They also went above and beyond with recommendations and assistance with reservations. We wanted to go to the beach and they recommended a spot that you can only get to by boat and made the reservation for us. When we got there, all we had to do was say we were there from Villa Lara, and we were given front row chairs at the busy beach right by the water.
They also booked our car to the airport early morning on our last day and helped us with our luggage when leaving.
I am sad that we only had 3 nights here. We will definitely be back!
