VILLA RUFOLO
Architecturally complex villa with a garden of exotic plants, classical and jazz concerts in summer
The villa has a complex architecture, due in particular to the alterations made in the 13th and 14th centuries. The influence of Islamic art is evident in both the design and decoration. It was the King of Naples, Charles I of Anjou (13th century), who ordered its erection in honour of the Lord of Ravello, Nicola Rufolo. Take a walk in the garden with exotic plants. Classical and jazz concerts are held here in the summer during the Ravello Festival, and an orchestra of 35 instruments performs here at dawn, accompanying the sunrise!
