VILLA ROMANA E ANTIQUARIUM
Roman villa by the sea, the visit invites in various spaces, the Antiquarium preserves the remains of the frescoes
The Roman villa of Minori, dated to the 1st century AD, was a seaside pleasure villa. Organized around a viridarium (a garden with a swimming pool), it had a triportico facing the coast. The visit allows to cross various spaces, like the baths decorated with mosaics and the triclinium. On the first floor, the Antiquarium preserves the remains of the frescoes that decorated the walls, as well as material from other archaeological sites in the area.
