The Museum of the School of Medicine exhibits documents and illustrations that trace the history of medicine in Salerno, especially in its heyday, from the 10th to the 13th century. It was one of the most important schools in Europe during the Middle Ages, and did not close its doors until the beginning of the 19th century. Since 2009, the museum is virtual, offering different routes thanks to 3D technology and several computerized documents from European libraries.
