This pastry shop, located in an old chapel where death row inmates used to come to say their last prayers, was founded by Mario Pantaleone in 1868. The remains of the chapel are still visible, but it is mainly for its cakes and chocolates that the house is known. It offers several specialities, including scazzetta (gingerbread with wild strawberries and whipped cream), montblanc (chestnut cake) and zuppetta (ricotta millefeuille).
