VILLA LYSIS
Villa with Art Nouveau architecture where Jacques d'Adelswärd-Fersen, French baron, poet and writer, went into exile
On the north-eastern edge of Capri, this house, also known as Villa Fersen, was the refuge of the exiled French baron, dandy, poet and eccentric writer Jacques d'Adelswärd-Fersen (1880-1923). The villa, built in 1905 by the architect Edouard Chimot, is a fine example of Art Nouveau or "neoclassical decadent" according to some descriptions.
