Fishing village with thermal springs, the baia di Sorgeto with natural hot water pools next to it

A small fishing village mixed with large, very chic hotels, located on the southwest coast. The road linking the village to the rest of the island was only built in 1948. Imagine then the life of the locals... The superb site and the not less beautiful beach nearby (Marina dei Maronti) generally magnetize the one who sticks there. Sant'Angelo is also famous for its thermal springs since the Antiquity. Not far away, the baia di Sorgeto has natural pools of hot water where it is possible to bathe even in the middle of winter!

Lors du tour de l'île en bateau au départ d'Ischia Porto (à recommander également), nous y sommes arrêtés 1 heure. Joli village pittoresque, prévoir au moins une après-midi pour en arpenter ses ruelles. Belle plage.

Nous sommes arrivées par un temps légèrement nuageux, mais ce cadre est magnifique. Ambiance villageoise, les gens sont accueillants et chaleureux. Petits restos très agréables et typique.
