Like our Radio France orchestra, Slovak Radio has its own classical music ensemble, which gives quality concerts at least once a month. Classical music concerts start at 7pm, and folk music at 6pm. The 80-strong orchestra began performing regularly on July1, 1929. It is thus the oldest professional orchestra in Slovakia, offering quality concerts.
