The new building of the Slovak National Theatre was inaugurated in 2007 and brings together under the same roof several venues, as well as ballet, opera and theatre groups. While some of the programming is still taking place in the prestigious historical theatre, the new building, which faces the Danube, offers beautiful working conditions for the actors and excellent acoustics to the delight of the audience.
