Nu Spirit Bar has been around since 2001, originally under the name Buddha Bar. It is a trendy place in the city with a clientele of festive thirty-somethings. A cosy, distinguished, but slightly dissolute nightclub in a long cellar, Nu Spirit Bar has a guest DJ every weekend, and on some Thursdays, to mix nu-jazz, jazzy, funk or soul sounds. Nu Spirit has been shaping Bratislava's underground nightlife scene for more than ten years and is a great escape from the increasingly commercial atmosphere in the city.
