CLARETIAN CHURCH / CONVENT (KOSTOL KLARISIEK)

This Gothic church has a 14th century nave and an interesting five-sided bell tower, a rather rare form of Gothic architecture. It was built on an outside wall of the church, because the Poor Clares were not allowed, according to the order's regulations, to have a bell tower built. Today, the church is no longer used as a place of worship, but as a concert hall. The convent, adjacent to the church, serves as a university library and cultural space.
