One of the jewels of Bratislava's rococo architecture. Built between 1768 and 1770 by a wealthy brewer of the city, this palace was passed from hand to hand to Count Mirbach, who bequeathed it to the city on the condition that a gallery be built there. It is worth a visit on its own for its monumental staircase or parquet floor, its multicoloured exotic woods, but above all its splendid 18th century engravings that adorn the walls of the palace. It hosts temporary exhibitions
