MUSEUM OF VITICULTURE
The exhibition retraces two thousand years of Slovakia's winegrowing tradition, showcasing the different techniques used to cultivate vines and make wine. It also presents the history of the two largest sparkling wine companies: Hubert J. E. and Palugyay. The museum is located in the basement of the Apponyi Palace, a rococo palace built in the late 18th century and renovated between 2006 and 2008.
It now houses a number of new spaces, including exhibitions of historic interiors and, in the attic, a series of ceramic, porcelain and glass objects.
