This annex of the Slovak National Museum is located in a Renaissance building built in the 16th century. Beautiful exhibitions of jewellery, weapons, coins, dating from 4500 BC to the 12th century AD. The real treasure of the museum (perhaps the entire city) is the Venus of Moravany, a small headless statuette with heavy breasts and generous shapes, carved from a mammoth horn during the Upper Paleolithic (-25,000 years).
