This church with a single nave was built between 1363 and 1383 on the site of an older building with the support of King Ludwig I of Hungary. Adjacent to the Franciscan convent, it was rebuilt in a Baroque style in the 17th and 18th centuries. It contains two altars in the choir, one in the sacristy, one in the chapel and ten in the nave. The central painting of the main altar depicts Santiago standing on a cloud and surrounded by a halo.
