One of the oldest monuments in Sväty Jur. Originally built without a bell tower in the late 13th century, this Gothic building rests on the foundations of an older Romanesque church. It has a beautiful altar originally carved from a single block of white sandstone in 1527, decorated with plant motifs and restored in 1992. The wooden bell tower, built after the Ottoman invasion in the 17th century, houses a bell dating from 1400. It was damaged by fire in 1802 and renovated in 1848.
