The tradition of golf in Piešt'any is a hundred years old, since the first course was built in 1914. This new green is located in the north of the seaside island in the Vrbinky district. The site has a twice 9-hole course (par 66) with a length of 4,110 m. Renovated in 2004, Piešťany's new golf course was inaugurated ninety years after its first opening. The Piešťany course has become attractive to professional golfers from home and abroad.
