Opposite the major seminary, the minor seminary was built at the beginning of the 18th century on the foundations of a medieval building, before being rebuilt several times. The last phase carried out by Bishops A. Roškováni and E. Palugyay was completed at the end of the 19th century, giving an eclectic character to the building. Between 1993 and 1995, a new wing was added to the rear of the building. It now has four of them forming a square with an atrium in the centre.
