The Franciscan monastic complex was built by Bishop Telegda on the site of the former Chapel of St. Peter and Paul in 1630 and displays a beautiful Baroque style. The interiors are worth a visit, particularly the 33 18th century wooden sculptures made by the monk Francis Xaver Seegen of Vienna around 1760. The whole illustrates the life of St. Francis of Assisi, the order's founder. The altarpiece dates from 1935 and represents the Fathers of the Church.
