Located below Holy Trinity Square, this late Gothic church is one of the most beautiful in Banská Štiavnica. The locals commonly call it the "Slovak Church", as it has been preached in Slovak since 1658. The church was built in 1488-1491 and its interior decoration was worked on until 1500. It has fine examples of wall frescoes, baroque statues and the original cross, statue of the Virgin and stone baptistery.
