Located to the north of the city, this castle built against the Ottomans was whitewashed and finished in 1571. A little later, it was used as a gunpowder warehouse, then as a fire station. This building is also called the living clock because, at the time, the guard sounded the trumpet every 15 minutes. Beyond the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, the interior of the castle is now a museum dedicated to the struggle against the armies of the Ottoman Empire.
