The Coin Museum is located in the premises of a former bourgeois house in Štefánikovo Square. It was founded in 1890 by the city's archivist, Pavol Križko. It bears witness to the history of the city since the 14th century. Kremnica has been known for minting coins since 1329. This tradition continues because it is in this city that the Slovak euros are struck. One of the permanent exhibitions is devoted to numismatics in Slovakia.
