The Martin Ethnographic Museum is the largest and oldest museum institution in Slovakia. Located in an impressive four-storey Soviet building, this museum is dedicated to Slovak ethnography from prehistoric times to the present day. The exhibition is organized according to 3 themes: man and earth, man and objects, man and clothing. It has a very fine collection of folk objects, considered to be one of the most important in Europe.
