This church was built in 1743 by the Jesuits on the west side of the main square. It has two Baroque towers and a central altar with a painting of St Paul by the Slovak artist Josef Bozetech Klemens (1817-1883). This church and the adjacent monastery are part of the town's historical heritage. The monastery used to be an orphanage and later a school, and today it is inhabited by Capuchin friars.
