The Chata pod Chlebom (1,423 m above sea level) is the highest mountain chalet in the Malá Fatra and is open all year round. In 1945, it was set on fire by retreating German soldiers. It was restored but burned again in 1982. The present chalet is built on the site of the old farm building. Today, it welcomes hikers in multi-bedded rooms or under the attic. It is best to come with your own sleeping bag.
